Hi!
My name is Hannah. Writer, wronger, enthusiastic creator, reluctant consumer, lover of contradictions. Daytime barista (duh!) and nighttime doom-scroller. Occasional thought-haver.
I’m often irritated by the impossible distance between my mind and yours. You’ve got a soul, a mind – I’ve got them too – and yet I’ll never know yours the same way you’ll never know mine.
Then there are words: the only tools we’ve found to attempt to cross this un-crossable gap.
In a world increasingly plagued by artificially-generated-whatever, writing/communicating/saying things has never been more important. The way I see it, it doesn’t matter if what you’re saying is novel or timely or particularly intelligent so long as it’s true.
Here, I’ll say some things about this or that, probably mainly about writing. I don’t know. We’ll see.
I hope you can see the value in it – this glimpse from one perspective to another.
Whether or not anyone is listening, I’m going to say things anyway.
All love,
Hannah
